The Japanese tuning firm popular for for its "Black Bison" body kits has launched a new one for the G63 and all the G-Class models that arrived post 2018. This is the W464 generation and it should not to be confused with the previuos one, which Wald changed also.
As with the Japanese tuning, the project seems a blend of styles. For example, the new fenders are bulky and have been bolted into the body, like Rocket Bunny kit.
This conflicts with the other packages, which wants to create the G-Class appear sportier. The new front bumper looks muscular, taking design elements from the AMG bumper design Mercedes which it used on the E 63 and S 63.
Those rounded intakes mismatch with the other G-Class body. Wald bumper appears to have an F1-style duct in the middle. The 2.5-ton SUVs also need a massive rear diffuser to lower the lift anyhow.
Two vehicles were launched at the 2020 Osaka Auto Messe. The white SUV is the G 350 d, which features an inline-6 diesel engine to generate 286 horsepower. And, the satin black debut is a G 63, the AMG sporting has a 585 horsepower 4.0-liter bi-turbo V8.
