To achieve the most ludicrous results car manufacturers are happy to implement the technology, so we can say the hybrid revolution is happening. To join the array Audi’s RS6-E is the latest electrified powerhouse, whereas the standard ABT RS6 is not short on power. Its voltaic sister has the best of both worlds and instant torque from an electric motor. 1018 horsepower and 1291 Nm of torque are produced by the new prototype from the ABT dungeons, ABT also developed a clever system to keep the weight down of the four-door saloon. Underneath the hood sits a 730 HP petrol engine and an electric motor capable of producing 288 HP and 312 Nm as of 100 km/h.

The caveat is apparent and due to overheating issues the electric “boost” can only be used for a duration of 10 seconds at a time. You press the small button on the steering wheel and you enter a time warp that bears similar Hollywood resemblances. What does all the sci-fi reminiscent engineering provide you in the real world?  For starter, the 0-100 km/h sprint is accomplished in merely 3.3 seconds, and the fun goes on up to 320 km/h by boosted 4.0 liters V8. For the family of four, this car is big enough. A fitting film wrap is given at the outside the Audi and also boasts 21-inch rims. Front lip, front skirt add-ons, mirror caps, fender inserts, side skirt add-ons and rear skirt add-ons including rear spoiler are all included in the aerodynamics package offered by the tuner for the normal  Audi RS6. ABT wanted to test the waters with hybrid technology with as result an impressive first result.
