The BMW X6 is a powerful SUV with a turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 producing 600 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque. Equipping the optional Competition package increases the output to 617 hp, which is more muscle than most SUV buyers will ever need. However, if that is not enough for you, German tuner G-Power has launched a new package that will enhance the performance on X6 M's to the next level.
The power upgrade of G-power is available in three states of tuner to suit a different budget. The remapping of ECU performance software of G-power messages X6 M's V8 to generate 690 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque, an increase of 73 hp and 74 lb-ft over the stock X6 M.
Stage 2 performance software increases the SUV's SUV's 4.4-liter V8 to a whopping 737 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque if stage 2 has opted. Stage 3 upgrade increased the output to a monumental 789 hp and 701 lb-ft of torque. In addition, the G-power has added a new performance software that upgrades the turbocharger and increases the power of X6 M to the supercar level.
With all these upgrades, the price of the car is quite high. However, this supercar SUV should be faster than the stock X6 M with all these modifications, accelerating from 0-62 mph in 3.8 seconds and reaching a top speed of 177 mph with the M Driver's package installed.
G-Power also offers 23-inch wheels wrapped in 315/25 high-performance tires and a lowered suspension to make the X6 M look even more menacing. BMW is currently testing prototypes of the upcoming X6 facelift, so the M version should also get a refresh next year.
