The Z4 M40i now fills 400 horsepower.
German tuner AC Schnitzer launched its aftermarket program for the 2020 Toyota Supra and now its counterpart from BMW is gaining a series of goodies covering all the bases. The focus of the package is truly the Z4 M40i, but there is a wide array of enhancements for the previous versions of the sporty roadster made by Magna Steyr in Graz, Austria next to the Supra.
With its turbocharged straight-six engine generating 382 hp, the M40i range-topper fills lots of punch if you’re owning one in the United States. As said, Europeans have to sort out for 340 hp due to the strict rules & regulations of emissions. If you are seeking to get back the power, AC Schnitzer can tune-up the engine to produce a 400 hp. Torque enhances from 500 Newton-meters (369 pound-feet) to 600 Nm (443 lb-ft). The tuner reveals extra power enhancements are being operated on for the 30i and 20i versions to make them better than the current 258 hp & 400 Nm / 295 lb-ft and 197 hp & 320 Nm / 236 lb-ft, respectively.
To equalize the add-on oomph, AC Schnitzer has created a bit more macho body kit comprises of a front splitter and a two-piece rear spoiler. The Z4 also has chunky side skirts and hood vents, while the original wheels are changed by tailor-made 20-inch alloys that are available in two different designs. You can equalize the new shoes with a suspension lowering kit that makes the convertible near to the road by 25 mm (nearly an inch).
If you want to own the range-topping M40i, a movable suspension is obtainable from the Aachen-based tuner at an extra price.
There are a few modifications in the cabin section as well where the two-seater roadster has a group of aluminum paddles at the back of the steering wheel, Apart from that it has given more aluminum for the pedals, footrest, and also key holder if you are seriously interested to have all the options.
