A powerful performance enhancement for the current Porsche 911 Turbo S model has been developed by Brabus. The performance upgrade, known as the Brabus PowerXtra P38S-720 boosts the car's 3.8-liter twin-turbo flat-six engine from the stock 650 hp to an impressive 720 hp at 6900 rpm, with an additional 70 hp. The torque also gets a substantial increase, going from 800 to 900 Nm at 4000 rpm.
With this upgrade, the acceleration of the vehicle improves significantly, reaching 0-100 km/h in just 2.6 seconds. The top speed remains electronically limited and stands at 335 km/h. To achieve these improvements, Brabus adapted the electronic engine controls and added a modified forced induction system using the Brabus PowerXtra auxiliary control unit.
Incredible gains continue with the Brabus PowerXtra P38S-820, which elevates the output to a remarkable 820 hp at 6900 rpm and a peak torque of 950 Nm at 4000 rpm. With the aid of its eight-speed dual-clutch transmission and electronically controlled all-wheel drive, the vehicle's engine generates ample power to achieve a rapid 0-100 km/h acceleration in just 2.5 seconds, and the electronically limited top speed increases to 340 km/h.
To complement the enhanced performance, Brabus also focused on the exterior and utilized carbon body components with either a high-gloss or matte finish. These components include a front spoiler with flaps to reduce front-axle lift at high speeds, large air intakes with tailor-made carbon elements, flaps on the rocker panels, and an exposed-carbon diffuser with unique tailpipes from the Brabus sport exhaust system.
The wheels also received an upgrade, featuring forged Monoblock Z Platinum Edition center-lock wheels. The front axle has 9.5Jx21 rims, while the rear axle boasts 12Jx22 rims, all wrapped in high-performance tires from Pirelli or Yokohama.
In order to Improve the handling, Brabus added height-adjustable sport springs, which lower the vehicle by 25 mm, effectively reducing the center of gravity.
Inside the car, the interior received special attention with red-glazed badges on the seat backrests, black leather with red piping and stitching to contrast the gray paint finish. The seats feature shield-shaped quilting on the center sections, and aluminum components adorn the pedals and footrest. Red glazing accents the dashboard and center console, while red decorative stitching embellishes the steering wheel. Even the Sport Chrono clock on the instrument panel and scuff plates showcase the backlit Brabus logo, enhancing the overall sporty and luxurious feel of the car
