At the 2021 Monaco Yacht Show, Brabus unveiled their latest limited-edition supercar, based on the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63. This exclusive release is restricted to a mere 24 units worldwide, making it a highly sought-after collector's item. With a price tag of $450,000 per car before taxes and shipping, it represents the pinnacle of street-legal SUV performance.
Brabus has taken the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 and elevated it to new heights by increasing the engine displacement from 4.0 liters to 4.2 liters. This modification results in a staggering power output of 900 horsepower and an impressive peak torque of 1250 Nm. Thanks to these enhancements, the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in a mind-blowing 3.2 seconds. Furthermore, the top speed of this supercar has been raised to an astonishing 330 km/h, solidifying its status as the fastest street-legal SUV in the world.
The engine receives its fuel supply from a pair of high-pressure pumps boasting an enhanced delivery rate, complemented by an additional boost pump for optimal performance. Furthermore, the standard-issue turbochargers have been substituted with specialized turbochargers featuring larger compressor units and reinforced axial bearings in their core assemblies.
In terms of its exterior, this vehicle showcases bodywork components constructed from advanced carbon materials. It incorporates a chin spoiler designed to minimize front-axle lift at high velocities, distinctive intakes proudly displaying the 'Rocket' logo, carbon accents enhancing the side air outlets, and a carefully integrated diffuser insert that flawlessly highlights the high-performance exhaust system. Adding to its aerodynamic prowess, the vehicle is also equipped with a three-piece rear spoiler.
Brabus is now providing the GLE 63 with a range of alloy wheel options, featuring various designs and diameters of 21, 22, 23, and 24 inches. Notably, the 900 Rocket Edition is equipped with Monoblock Z 'Platinum Edition' wheels measuring a substantial 24 inches in diameter, accentuated by exposed-carbon aero-discs. On the front axle, you will find 10Jx24 wheels paired with 295/30 ZR24 high-performance tires, while the rear axle boasts 12Jx24 wheels matched with 355/25 ZR24 tires.
The model's interior showcases exquisite Mastik leather upholstery, Alcantara available in a wide range of color options, and offers a choice of noble-wood and carbon interior sets in various colors and surface finishes. Furthermore, the interior is elegantly coordinated with the exterior in a tasteful 'Superior Gray' finish. The starting price for the Rocket Edition begins at 381,243 euros, excluding taxes and shipping costs.
