Brabus is a quite popular name in the world of Mercedes-Benz models – they are experts in crafting everything from the small Smart car to the large GLS SUV. Now they’ve addressed their first all-electric vehicle from the Three-Pointed Star, the EQC SUV, and their enhancements surely improve the car’s sporting look.
The most important thing Brabus has done to the EQC is enhancing its power from 402 to 416 horsepower and torque from 760 Nm (560 pound-feet) to 830 Nm (612 pound-feet). And the courtesy goes to the Brabus E-PowerXtra kit for such a boost, and the extra shove is only obtainable when the car is in the Sport mode.
As per Brabus, the EQC’s sprint time from standstill to reaching 100 km/h lowers from the standard 5.1 seconds to 4.9 seconds. But the enhancements have no effect on top speed and it remains at 180 km/h (112 mph).
Brabus will also modify the appearance of the EQC, with the help of a group of new bumpers and side skirts, but currently, only the rear spoiler is made.
The wheels are made in 20- or 21-inch sizes. All Brabus-tuned EQCs get B-branded, illuminated sill guards, and various designs for the digital instrument cluster, custom door lock pins and aluminum pedals. The cost is still not disclosed because the E-PowerXtra kit is still in the quality testing phase.
