In some past year, General Motors’ design director Michael Simcoe came on Brembo’s online podcast to share about vehicle design and told 24- and 26-inch wheels are most probably arriving at the industry very soon. Forgiato has just revealed an outstanding 26-inch alloy set.

Of course, the Los Angeles-based company is not an automaker and tuners often put oversized wheels on different cars but the fact that this is not the first 26-inch wheelset from Forgiato probably signals what is to come from OEMs in the very near future. Regardless, the Forgiato Wire Wheel has a retro design with 127 spokes, large floating caps, and a 5x127 bolt pattern.

The bespoke wheel maker says it already accepts fully-refundable deposits of $500 for the new set, and out of which just 100 examples will be made. The budget of the whole set is $11,000 and there’s also a matching multi-spoke steering wheel with a cost of $2,000. And if you wish to order a full package- 26-inch wheels, a matching steering wheel, and Forgiato will cost you $12,000. And $1,000 discount over the cost of the parts if you shop them separately.

Forgiato says that “all of the wheels are made and finished by an in-house team using all American components.”
