G-Power is a German-based company which is known for its seamless efforts on the BMW’s. But it has also made involvement in the AMG realm. Mercedes-AMG GT S is one of the recent work that has been done by the G-Power.
The G-Power added their Bi-Tronik 5 Power module with the twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 engine in the Mercedes-AMG GT S. This not only upgrades the overall performance of the car but also make it smoother on driving. The plug and play unit of the car connected to the factory-side ECU and modifies the data before sharing it with the factory AMG control unit. This function can be easily checked as the system gets deactivated as soon as the coolant temperature excesses its maximum limit.
After adding this G-Power Bi-Tronik 5 plug-and-play module installed and activated, this twin-turbo V-8 engine can churn out a maximum power of 610hp at 6500 RPM along with 469 lb-ft f torque. Earlier it was capable to make only 400hp of power at 5500 RPM. This performance changes made it reach at a speed of 62mph in just 3.5 seconds.
Working to boost its performance, the car is also given lightweight forged alloy wheels that reduce the rotation mass, increasing its overall performance. Especially, for customers, the G-Power has offered the Hurrican RR alloy wheels measuring 20 x 9.0 up front and 21 x 10.5 at the rear
Currently, the new G-Power upgrades for the Mercedes-AMG GT S are available for the customers in form of complete upgrade packages or in the form of individual accessories.
