Prior Design Officially Announces the PD458WB Widebody Kit for the 458 Italia

Prior Design has skill in building aerodynamic body kits that help in transforming sports cars and supercars bigger, stronger, and wider than before.

The new PD458WB features many similar enhancements along with muscular fenders that aim at power and performance.

The conversion begins in advance with a new PD458WB bumper having the same vertical piece as that of LaFerrari paired with four-piece side flics. A ventilated front hood placed above the bumper and is strengthened by two powerful GT3-racing-look fenders that enhance a total of 60 mm outwards.

The rear of the Ferrari 458 Italia is completed off with a rear bumper and diffuser combo along with a trunk spoiler for added downforce. Customers can have carbon fiber ventilated engine covers fitted above the mid-mounted 4.5-liter V-8.

However, Prior Design provides three-piece forged wheel designs that measure a staggered 9.5 x 21 upfront with 255/30 ZR21 tires and 11.5 x 22 at the rear with 325/25 ZR22 Continental tires.

Apart from changing the visual aspect of the Ferrari 458 Italia; the team also worked on 4.5-liter V-8. Prior Design provides a tune application that peeps out close to 30 horsepower and 30 lb-ft. of torque extra out of the engine. A complete exhaust system including 200-cell racing catalytic converters, manifolds, and muffler with flap control can also be set up as an option to enhance the power by close to 40 horsepower.

Interior, customers can have a new set of seat clad in Alcantara and/or Nappa leather with red stitching.

The cost of the new PD458WB Widebody Aerodynamic kit is 24,900 euros while the cost of software tune and exhaust is 12,800 euros, and that can be ordered separately.
