You have to be a pretty bold tuner to take a look at the Rolls-Royce Cullinan, the most opulent SUV on the planet, and decide that it needs something extra. However, this is precisely what Wald International did when the company went about creating the Cullinan Sports Line Black Bison Edition. The end result is an SUV that'll make drivers of the all-new Cadillac Escalade feel inadequate.
It is painted in black and the dark color allows the chrome elements and massive 24-inch wheels to stand out. There are other updates to the Cullinan's body that include side steps, a new front lip, a rear spoiler, and a sporty rear diffuser.
It is a means like other Wald International projects like this sinister Mercedes GLE Coupe. This Cullinan Black Bison is also clearly sitting lower to the ground than the stock model. Under the hood, no changes were announced, not that the base Cullinan isn't fully up to the job in that area.
It employs a 6.75-liter V12 with 563 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque, enough to launch this mega SUV to 60 mph in around five seconds. It's nothing to bother a Lamborghini Urus, but then again, this is the type of car that seems to demand a slow cruise so that everyone else can properly take in the spectacle.
Cullinan is a bit more aggressive than the standard version, if you're after it, but not as brash as this Bison, Rolls-Royce does offer the Black Badge Cullinan, which also comes with a slight increase in power. This is not the first time that aftermarket tuners have had their way with the Cullinan; VF Engineering came up with a software upgrade to increase the SUV's output to 663 hp and 737 lb-ft.
